Yes. Riverbase Counseling accepts many major insurance plans. If you’re unsure whether your insurance is accepted, please contact us before your appointment, and we’ll be happy to verify your benefits. Self-pay options are also available.

Yes. Your privacy is extremely important. Counseling sessions are confidential except in situations where disclosure is required by law, such as concerns about safety or abuse. Your counselor will review confidentiality in detail during your first appointment.

Telehealth counseling is simply therapy conducted through a secure video platform. It offers the same professional counseling services as in-person appointments while providing greater convenience and flexibility for busy individuals and families throughout Arkansas.

Yes. Riverbase Counseling provides counseling for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, burnout, relationship concerns, parenting challenges, and major life transitions through secure telehealth appointments across Arkansas.

School-based counseling allows students to receive therapy during the school day in participating schools, reducing barriers to care and minimizing missed classroom time. Services are coordinated with families while maintaining confidentiality and supporting each student’s emotional, social, and academic success.

Parents play an important role in a child’s progress. Depending on the child’s age and needs, therapy may include parent consultations, family sessions, skill-building strategies, and regular communication to help support progress outside of therapy.

We can still meet. The client would have to pay privately, and your therapy can provide you with a superbill which you would submit to your insurance company to be directly reimbursed via your out-of-network benefits if applicable.

Not a problem, life happens. We have a cancellation policy that requires clients to provide 24 hour notice when they have to cancel session. Late cancelations are fined $50. If you do not notify your therapist and you “ghost” aka no call no show, the no show fee of $50 will be applied. Repeated or frequent cancellations any of kind will result in client forfeiting saved spot in the schedule due to lack of attendance.
