Arkansas Telehealth Counseling
Professional counseling—wherever you are in Arkansas.
Getting support shouldn't always require another drive, another waiting room, or another complicated addition to an already busy schedule.
Riverbase Counseling offers secure telehealth counseling services for clients located in Arkansas, making professional mental health care accessible from the privacy and convenience of home or another appropriate private location.
What is telehealth counseling?
Telehealth counseling is professional therapy provided through secure video sessions rather than meeting in a traditional office.
The therapy itself is still therapy. Clients receive individualized mental health services from a Licensed Professional Counselor, including assessment, treatment planning, individual therapy, and other clinically appropriate services.
The primary difference is simply where we meet.
When might telehealth be a good fit?
Telehealth can be especially helpful for people who live in rural communities, have busy work or family schedules, experience transportation barriers, or simply prefer the convenience and privacy of receiving counseling remotely.
Telehealth may be used to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, ADHD-related challenges, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, emotional regulation, and other concerns affecting everyday life.
Is telehealth right for everyone?
Not necessarily—and that's okay.
During the assessment process, the therapist and client will consider whether telehealth is an appropriate and effective option based on the client's individual needs and circumstances.
In some situations, in-person services, specialized treatment, crisis services, or another level of care may be more appropriate. When Riverbase Counseling is not the best fit, we will discuss recommendations and appropriate next steps whenever possible.
Counseling that meets you where you are.
Living in a rural community shouldn't mean having fewer options for mental health care.
Whether you're navigating a difficult season, adjusting to something new, or simply realizing it's time to make a change, telehealth can provide a convenient way to begin.
You don't have to know exactly where the road leads before asking for help navigating what's around the bend.
